The most sought-after trio in the world, the Eroica Trio thrills audiences with flawless technical virtuosity, irresistible enthusiasm and sensual elegance. The Trio is on the vanguard of a new generation of artists who are changing the face of classical music. One of the first all-female chamber ensembles to reach the top echelon of its field, the Eroica Trio is helping to break an age-old gender barrier.
The program will include pieces from their new CD, an American Journey and features all American music that was written or arranged for the Trio. Mark O'Connors' "Poets and Prophets" trio is based on the life of Johnny Cash and references his famous catchphrase "Hello, I'm Johnny Cash"., West Side Story is Bernstein's' most famous work and the Trio has had a brilliant Brazilian composer who has arranged it for piano trio.
