FREE INTRODUCTION TO ZEN MEDITATION
Zen Peacemakers Offer a Gathering of Instruction, Practice and Group Discussion
Sensei Eve Myonen Marko will teach an introduction to Zen Meditation, including : instruction - focusing on body, mind and breath – two brief meditation sessions, and a question-and-answer period on Zen Practice and its benefits to every day life. Meditation develops concentration and a quality of perspective that allows new possibilities to arise in the mind, and inspires a life of awakening and service. It has been medically documented to reduce stress, improve concentration and strengthen the immune system. The Zen Peacemakers are an extensive international family of 60 Zen centers, promoting interfaith cooperation, deep Spiritual practice, and its application to all aspects of life. Sensei Eve is the head of the Montague Farm Zendo -the motherhouse of the Zen peacemakers - and she has lead meditation and peacemaking circles worldwide.
